Rent Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System

Is it better to buy or rent a reverse osmosis system?

If you’re in the market for a reverse osmosis system in Canada, you may have wondered if there is an advantage to renting instead of buying.

Here are considerations that could make renting a better value for homeowners.

  • The length of time you plan on living in your home. The benefit of renting is that there’s little commitment if you relocate, or you dislike the type of system that’s been installed.
  • If you’re not sure if you will like it, or how your water will benefit from it.
  • Maintenance and repair costs are covered by contractual obligations. We will send a technician for anything that may go wrong.

Reverse osmosis drinking water system FAQs

What is reverse osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove pollutants from water including nitrates, pesticides, sulfates, fluoride, bacteria, pharmaceuticals, and other impurities.

How does a reverse osmosis work?

When household water pressure pushes water through the RO system, the impurities are filtered out and subsequently flushed down the drain. There are 4 stages in the reverse osmosis process. The pre-filter stage is designed to strain out sediment, silt, and dirt. Then the carbon filter removes chlorine and other contaminants. After that the semi-permeable membrane filters out almost all additional contaminants. And a final post filter (carbon filter) polishes the water to remove any remaining odor. The four-stage filtering system ensures outstanding drinking water.

How effective is reverse osmosis filtration compared to other methods?

Reverse osmosis is the gold standard for drinking water purification. This technology is used to make bottled water and it’s capable of desalinating sea water, making it into drinking water. RO systems are generally more effective at removing contaminants than carbon-based systems.

What are the advantages of renting the RO system?

The RO system will allow you to use better water in everything you do. Rental benefits include: affordable monthly rate; repair and maintenance costs are included in the monthly fee; 24-hour emergency services on all products are available. We offer a variety of equipment to fit any space and expert installation by licensed experts.
