A leader in condensing technology

Since 2006, Navien, Inc. has become one of the fastest growing companies in the home comfort sector in North America and is now a leader in condensing technology, providing condensing tankless water heaters, combi-boilers, and boilers. Navien’s products possess state-of-the-art technology, high efficiency and reliable quality.

Navien has achieved international recognition for its sophisticated engineering and robust designs. Backed by parent company, KD Navien with more than thirty-five years of experience with advanced boiler and water heating technology, Navien will continue its mission to provide high quality products.

Navien has been pushing the boundaries of efficiency for 25 years. The NPE-210A is a result of their dedication to providing an effective and green water heating unit. The NPE-210A and all Navien models utilize condensing technology, which captures additional heat lost by typical water heaters. The Navien NPE-210A’s energy factor is superior to both traditional water heaters and non-condensing tankless models. Reduced vent temperatures due to this condensing technology allow you to use PVC venting, which saves you money and contributes to the ease of installation. The Navien NPE-210A has excellent technology for reducing your heating costs and carbon footprint.

Product Features:

ComfortFlow Technology
ComfortFlow is Navien’s recirculation system, and it is included in the NPE-210A. By combining a small insulated buffer tank with a recirculation pump, the NPE-210A ensures that you will always have hot water available instantly.

Help the Environment
The Navien NPE-210A will reduce your home’s impact on the environment. Eco Pre-mixed Burners reduce CO and NOx emissions by combining gas heating and air before ignition. The result is a nearly 75% reduction in polluting emissions. In fact, an installed Navien NPE-210A reduces CO2 by the same amount as 31 cypress trees.

Incredible Efficiency
Navien products reduce energy consumption without sacrificing comfort. Their tankless models, such as this one, only heat water when you need it, reducing energy expenditure. Also, the NPE-210A uses a secondary heat exchanger to transform condensation and exhaust into additional heat. This reduces the ventilation temperature and increases the energy factor. The NPE-210A’s efficiency translates directly into savings on operation costs for you!

Tremendous Durability
The Navien NPE-210A uses stainless steel for the Eco Pre-mixed Burner and both heat exchangers. This prevents corrosion and increases the lifespan of your NPE-210A.

A Product You Can Trust
Navien products are recognized by an array of organizations. The NPE-210A is certified by Energy Star; the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute; the Canadian Standards Association; and the National Sanitation Foundation.

How do I choose the right size of central AC for my home?
Various factors need to be considered such as
• Specific region and climate in which you live
• Orientation of your home (for example, if it faces west)
• Size and age of your windows
• Your home’s ventilation system and ductwork
• Quality and quantity of your home’s insulation
• Age of your home
How does a new high efficiency AC will help me save energy bills?
Choose ENERGY STAR® certified ACs
ENERGY STAR certified central air conditioners have higher seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) ratings and use less energy than conventional new models*. Our experts can help you choose an ENERGY STAR certified AC that’s right for your needs. Schedule a no-obligation, in-home consultation with a Home Comfort Advisor today.
How long does an installation take? What time will they arrive? Do I need to be home for the installation?
Every installation is different, and every project presents unique installation challenges, but we aim to have all installations completed in one day. Technicians will arrive at the prearranged agreed upon time and will keep you updated on the progress throughout the day. We always recommend that homeowners are present during installation, but if that’s not possible, we require someone over the age of 18 to be home during installation.
Can I buy it online and install by myself?
HVAC or Boiler installation requires electrical, gas and refrigerant knowledge as well as familiarity with local bylaws and building codes. Failure to properly install HVAC equipment can create safety concerns and performance issues as well as void manufacturer warranties. For those reasons, we always recommends professional installation.
What Are Maintenance Needs of the Air Conditioner?
Scheduling preventive maintenance is essential if you want to protect your investment in your air conditioner. Routine basic maintenance helps prevent problems from occurring and extends the life of your air conditioning unit.
Along with your air conditioning installation, ask about the preventative maintenance service of your contractor. What is included, and what is the cost?
When Can You Install My New Air Conditioner?
There’s just one more thing to do. You should consider the best time to install your new air conditioner.
If you have an existing air conditioner that is not working and summer is approaching then you may want to get this done soon. Even if you have a functioning air conditioner, the installation process will mean you will be without air conditioning for at least some time. There will also be some disruption in your home while work is completed.
Discuss your preferred installation timescale with your home comfort advisor. They will explain the process and work with you to keep disruption to a minimum.
