A leader in condensing technology

Since 2006, Navien, Inc. has become one of the fastest growing companies in the home comfort sector in North America and is now a leader in condensing technology, providing condensing tankless water heaters, combi-boilers, and boilers. Navien’s products possess state-of-the-art technology, high efficiency and reliable quality.

Navien has achieved international recognition for its sophisticated engineering and robust designs. Backed by parent company, KD Navien with more than thirty-five years of experience with advanced boiler and water heating technology, Navien will continue its mission to provide high quality products.

Navien condensing tankless water heaters boilers for residential and light commercial applications use innovative high-efficiency technology to provide a comfortable environment. Navien NPE-180A High-Efficiency Condensing Tankless Water Heater is the only tankless water heaters with ComfortFlow to save you time and money while you enjoy endless hot water.

ComfortFlow® Recirculates Hot Water Through Supply Lines, Eliminating Wait Time for Hot Water.

Exclusive built-in recirculation system included on all Navien NPE-180A models.

Navien ComfortFlow® is the first and only system that incorporates a built-in insulated buffer tank and recirculation pump. The buffer tank eliminates the “cold water sandwich” effect and issues of minimum flow rates commonly found in other tankless water heaters. The recirculation pump saves on water bills by reducing the time to get hot water. When activated, the optional ComfortFlow mode results in additional energy usage.

With Navien’s Ready-Link® cascading technology, when a unit gets up to 80% capacity, the next unit will turn on to help meet requirements. The flow-on-demand ratio will continue until all 16 units are generating hot water as needed. The Navien cascading system also balances out the workload of each unit for longer life.

NaviLink makes it easy to communicate with your Navien systems anywhere internet service is accessible. The NaviLink module attaches easily to any new or existing Navien tankless water heater, combi‐boiler, and boiler.

At the push of a button, the Navien HotButton hot water system activates the internal recirculation pump and gas-fired burner to heat water in the supply lines to provide hot water whenever it’s needed.

The H2Air Kit utilizes the NPE-A pump to circulate the hot water for the hydronic air handler. This removes the need to purchase an additional circulatory for the heating system. Designed for retrofit and new construction, the Navien H2Air Kit™ includes an add-on controller to integrate space heating and DHW between any NPE-A series tankless water heater and a hydronic air handler.

Unlike the conventional storage tank water heaters that will eventually run out of hot water, Navien’s Condensing Tankless Water Heaters can deliver an endless supply because they only produce hot water when you need it, which limits energy and water waste. With a Navien Tankless Water Heater, you will never have to worry about running out of hot water, no matter how much you use at a single time.

How do I choose the right size of central AC for my home?
Various factors need to be considered such as
• Specific region and climate in which you live
• Orientation of your home (for example, if it faces west)
• Size and age of your windows
• Your home’s ventilation system and ductwork
• Quality and quantity of your home’s insulation
• Age of your home
How does a new high efficiency AC will help me save energy bills?
Choose ENERGY STAR® certified ACs
ENERGY STAR certified central air conditioners have higher seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) ratings and use less energy than conventional new models*. Our experts can help you choose an ENERGY STAR certified AC that’s right for your needs. Schedule a no-obligation, in-home consultation with a Home Comfort Advisor today.
How long does an installation take? What time will they arrive? Do I need to be home for the installation?
Every installation is different, and every project presents unique installation challenges, but we aim to have all installations completed in one day. Technicians will arrive at the prearranged agreed upon time and will keep you updated on the progress throughout the day. We always recommend that homeowners are present during installation, but if that’s not possible, we require someone over the age of 18 to be home during installation.
Can I buy it online and install by myself?
HVAC or Boiler installation requires electrical, gas and refrigerant knowledge as well as familiarity with local bylaws and building codes. Failure to properly install HVAC equipment can create safety concerns and performance issues as well as void manufacturer warranties. For those reasons, we always recommends professional installation.
What Are Maintenance Needs of the Air Conditioner?
Scheduling preventive maintenance is essential if you want to protect your investment in your air conditioner. Routine basic maintenance helps prevent problems from occurring and extends the life of your air conditioning unit.
Along with your air conditioning installation, ask about the preventative maintenance service of your contractor. What is included, and what is the cost?
When Can You Install My New Air Conditioner?
There’s just one more thing to do. You should consider the best time to install your new air conditioner.
If you have an existing air conditioner that is not working and summer is approaching then you may want to get this done soon. Even if you have a functioning air conditioner, the installation process will mean you will be without air conditioning for at least some time. There will also be some disruption in your home while work is completed.
Discuss your preferred installation timescale with your home comfort advisor. They will explain the process and work with you to keep disruption to a minimum.
